Located at the tip of the peninsula is the incorporated Village of Sands Point. All residents are entitled to membership in the Village Club of Sands Point which is Village owned. Members have access to golf, tennis, swimming, picnic areas, hiking trails and 1900 feet of beach. The historic Guggenheim mansion serves as the focal point of the club where residents gather for parties, dining, and concerts. There is also lodging for guests of residents.
